"I still see fine at a distance, why change?" Every optician knows that sentence. Presbyopia is invisible to the person living with it.
Words are not enough
We talk about accommodation, a stiffening lens, intermediate vision. The customer nods… then compares prices. Until he sees the problem, a progressive lens is an expense, not a solution.
Show it instead
With IO-Tech-Vision augmented reality, your customer puts on a headset in your store. He sees your store as it is, then as he would see it with presbyopia, myopia, astigmatism or cataract. Then he switches lenses, from entry level to premium, with the ranges of your suppliers.
- He sees why the reading card blurs at the edges with an entry-level lens.
- He understands the difference in field of view between two progressives.
- He chooses knowingly: the best lens justifies itself.
For the whole family
The same headset takes him inside the eye: cornea, lens, retina. It explains a parent's cataract, AMD or glaucoma. What we understand, we take seriously: screening, follow-up and eyewear for the whole family.
In practice
- A consumer headset (Meta Quest 3 recommended), not supplied.
- €30 per month (excl. VAT) for the Vision universe, 3-year licence.
- Your logo and your suppliers in the app.
Augmented reality does not replace an eye examination or your advice: it makes them visible.
